Okay, so when I went to present my
proposal, I thought that I knew exactly what I wanted to talk about. However, I
soon kind of came to find out that there wasn’t a lot of research on this
topic. I feel that this is good to write a new inquiry question on, however
this is difficult to back up when you don’t have any evidence to back up. So my
main reaction from my presentation was that I was going to have to tweak my
thesis statement a bit in order to be able to still propose a new idea but to
be able to have that backup foundation that I needed. I am nervous about this
project because my subject that I am writing on is such a difficult topic to
discus. There are so many extra additional factors that can get in the way when
talking about how virtual language can affect adolescent minds. I think that by
presenting this new proposal today, it helped me get my thoughts together on
what I needed to do.
